I like to compare airline flights to reveal how large the USA is. It is a five hour flight from London to Tel Aviv, to another continent. It is a five and a half hour flight from Los Angeles to New York City, a six hour flight from Los Angeles to Boston, and a seven hour flight from Seattle to Miami. That seven hour flight is the same seven hour flight from London to Toronto, across the Atlantic Ocean to another continent in another hemisphere. I also like to compare truck drivers legally driving long distances. While it may take a truck driver a day to drive across Italy, it takes a truck driver SIX days to legally drive across America from Los Angeles to Boston... Notice this twist, SIX days driving or SIX hours flying... Truck drivers are limited in the number of hours they drive before taking a coffee break, a lunch break, and to sleep by federal law, ditto in Europe. A pair of truck drivers driving one truck in turns could possibly to the same in half the time.

I think that this is very myoptic looking at one person's viewpoint and comments. It is utter BS that every over pass in LA has homeless people. Bars do NOT close at midnight, but rather at 2 AM simply because alcohol cannot be sold after 2 AM. So, it is clear that this guy, who is leaving, wants to make it sound so bad. Also, there are a lot more cities than just Los Angeles in the greater LA metro, which is very different from European cities. Los Angels city has a population of 4 M, but the metro population is 12 M! So, I think this whole video and topic is totally biased. If people were really leaving the LA area, why is the population not going down?

I have to add one more comment - I have traveled to and even lived in Europe (as a child) for many years, and I think that French food, followed by Italian food to be VERY good. English is terrible! The same goes for the wine - French and Italian wines are tops, along with German whites!

While your intent is good, and you are fun to listen to, people who are vegan should not be reviewing food in America. I say this because most of the American food is meat based, from hamburgers ti hot dogs to BBQ (Beef, pork chicken), Even a lot of the Mexican food is meat based. Even most pizza has meat in it. So, it would be pretty hard to listen to your comments about American when you do not eat most of it. Also, your comments on American pizza is pretty far off. There are many kinds of pizza, and I am not just referring to the selection of the toppings. There is a very thin pizza if ordered that way (my wife & I had such a pizza today at Pizza Hut- a pizza chain in many states), then most pizzas have what I would call a medium thickness, and then there are several kinds of deep dish pizzas. Again, when you listen to the video you are watching, notice how often it is some kind of meat based. Meat is the main food item in the US. Of course, there are vegan people, but it is hard for them when traveling or going to fast food places. In closing, there is so much variety of food in America, unlike any other country in the world. Question - why were you in the US for only 2 years?

This is an old video. The Nimitz Class carriers are being superseded by the Ford Class carriers. There are now two Ford Class launched (USS Gerald R Ford (CVN-78) and USS John F Kennedy (CVN-79)), the third, USS Enterprise (CVN-80) is scheduled to launch in 2025. These should replace USS Nimitz (CVN-68), USS Dwight D Eisenhower (CVN-69), and USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70). However, the US Navy is extending the service of all of those ships, which means that the US has 12 carriers, soon to be 13. Carrier Strike Groups can also have NATO ships with them, and yes, that does include Italy.

I think the USA has an advantage. The country is always at war somewhere in the world. The experience of the usa military, is extremely high. Also, as others have said, anything you saw here is what the usa wants you to see. They probably have a lot of secret weapons that not even the usa citizens nor Congress know about. Maybe the president. In WW2, only the researchers and the president knew of the atomic bomb. Not even the vice president knew.

Australia doesn't have any land borders, and the island countries that are close enough for small boats, don't have large populations. So they only get people who have the resources to book passage on a commercial passenger boat, or a plane. These, as a general rule, are typically also the people who have the resources to jump through the proper legal hoops, fill out the correct paperwork, wait for their visa to arrive, find a legitimate place to stay, look for work if they are legally allowed to do so, etc., i.e., the sorts of immigrants who don't cause a lot of problems, because they mostly know how to do the things they need to do. I'm not saying they don't have any problems with immigrants at all, because they do. (Immigrants from mainland China, in particular, have an unfortunate tendency to think that Australian laws and social norms don't matter.) But it really isn't the same as the US border crisis. Australia doesn't have thousands of unaccompanied minors showing up with no place to go, for example.

You know I'm an American and I'm sitting here listening to you and all I can think is why do you seem so eager for a country such as China, a communist country by the way... to surpass the United States in military power. If I'm being honest you seems quite upset that the United States military is as strong as it is and I hate to tell you this but there is no way anybody other military is surpassing the United States military. There's no secret weapons somebody has that they've not told anybody about. America's military budget is almost a trillion dollars it is more than all the other countries combined and has been for decades..... so I really don't think any country is going to somehow magically surpass the United States military. It just offended me! Yes my country's president can sometimes get us involved in stuff I personally prefer we weren't involved in, but the day you need somebody to protect you... Italy! The day your country needs protection, who do you think you'll be going to? America, the United States, that's who and we would be there. So please tone it down a bit.
